By the Grace of Allah we have been successful in securing a leased space for Upright Books. We have established a Salafi Dawah Center that will become a central location for the call to Tawheed insha’Allah. As Allah Subhaanahu wa Ta’aala has stated in the Qur'an:
“And verily, We have sent among every ummah a messenger [proclaiming], ‘Worship Allah [alone], and keep away from all false deities. [An-Nahl:36]
At the Salafi Dawah Center (Markaz as Salafiyyah), authentic books, tapes and CDs can be purchased in both the English and Arabic languages. All proceeds received will be funneled back into the dawah efforts. The Upright Books Educational Foundation (Al Maktabatul Istiqaama) is a not for profit venture established by known Salafis in the New England area.
The Salafi Dawah Center also aims to:
• Produce and publish salafi dawah material for distribution
• Establish study circles for both brothers and sisters
• Invite people of knowledge from abroad and also the well-known salafi du'aat in the west for salafi gatherings, study seminars and lectures
• Organize trips from New England to salafi gatherings
• Establish tele- links with the Noble Scholars of the Salafi dawah
• Coordinate a prison education project to introduce incarcerated brothers and sisters to the dawatu salafiyyah
It is our aim to continuously expand our projects and intensify our commitment to spreading Islam to the non-Muslims and educating the Muslims upon the teachings of the Qur'aan and Sunnah from the understanding of the pious predecessors (as Salaf as Salih). We encourage our brothers and sisters, to be part of this noble cause, by way of your du’a, and donating your time and your financial contribution. For indeed, it is by striving that we discover the fruits of success.
Prophet Muhammad said in an authentic hadith “ Allah says that I have not send down wealth and provisions except for the establishment of Salah and the giving of Sadaqa” (Reported by Ahmad in his Musnad and at-Tabaraanee in al Kabeer from Abu Waqid. Also in Saheehul-Jami’, 1777.)
Allah, says: “And whatsoever you spend of anything [in the cause of Allah], He will replace it. He is the Best of those who grants sustenance.” [SoorahSaba‘34:39]
"Those who spend their wealth (in Allah’s cause) by night and day, in secret and in public, they shall have their reward with their Lord. On them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve." [Al-Baqarah:274]
"Help one another in Al-birr and At-Taqwa.." (Al-Ma'idah 5:2)
Say: "Truly, my Lord enlarges the provision for whom He wills of His slaves, and restricts (it) for him, and whatsoever you spend of anything (in Allâh's Cause), He will replace it. And He is the Best of providers." [ Saba ' 34:39]
“The likeness of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah, is as the likeness of a grain (of corn); it grows seven ears, and each ear is a hundred grains. Allah gives manifold increase to whom he pleases.”[Sooratul-Baqarah 2:261]
Should we not be amongst those who prosper when responding to this call?
Allah says: “And spend of that which we have provided you before death comes to one of you and he says: ‘My Lord! If only you give me respite for a little while [and return me to the world], then I will give charity from my wealth and be amongst the righteous’.” [Al-Munafiqoon:10]
Know with certainty, that those who give their wealth in Allah’s cause, will have their charity made abundant on the day full of trials: “And those who give that which they give with their hearts full of fear because they are sure to return to their Lord. ” [Soorah- Al Mu‘minoon 23:60]
We pray to Allah that he keeps our intentions pure for his sake alone, keeps us firm and steadfast in our actions and keeps us firm upon the Sunnah of His beloved Prophet and aid us in establishing the dawah Salafiyya upon the earth, until the certainty reaches us.
